Fascia carries the gutter, and soffit feeds the attic its intake air. When either rots, you get sagging gutters, wildlife in the attic, and a ventilation system that no longer works. We replace, wrap and vent them properly.
VENTILATION MATTERS MORE THAN PEOPLE THINK
Ridge vent with no intake at the soffit does almost nothing. Balanced intake and exhaust lowers attic temperature, extends shingle life and is required to keep most manufacturer warranties intact.
